Virological.org: Complete sequence of Andes virus from Swiss MV Hondius case

Swiss National Reference Center for Emerging Viral Infections (Geneva University Hospitals) and Institute of Medical Virology (Zurich) posted the first complete genome of the MV Hondius outbreak strain, from the Swiss patient confirmed 5 May. Metagenomic sequencing across all three segments shows clustering with naturally circulating ANDV from the Oligoryzomys longicaudatus reservoir in Chile/Argentina, with no evidence of reassortment.
